Announcing Our New Chief Operating Officer: Jessica Huntington
We are delighted to announce that Jessica Huntington has been offered and accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer at AcroSports.
Jessica’s journey with AcroSports began at just 7 years old as one of AcroSports’ first students. Growing up in our gym, she has shown a long-term commitment to our organization from its earliest days. Over the past 31 years, Jessica has gained an unparalleled understanding of our inner workings, making her an invaluable asset to our team.
At the age of 14, she started her AcroSports career as a member of the front desk team and a coach in the PreK, Camp, and Party departments. She joined the management team in 2005 and has since held positions including Operations Manager, Special Events Manager, and Administrative Director. Jessica’s deep knowledge of AcroSports extends beyond daily operations; she has worked closely with the Board of Directors as a staff advisor, providing critical insights, strategic planning, and fostering strong relationships.
Jessica has also taken time away from AcroSports to explore the world, work as a consultant and wellness coach, offer programming at international retreat centers, and currently volunteers with another nonprofit that fosters wholeness and interconnectedness through multi-sensory creative exploration, human connection, and community support. These experiences have enriched her skill set and broadened her perspective, further enhancing her ability to contribute to AcroSports.
In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Jessica will be responsible for all backend operations required to run AcroSports smoothly. She navigates our registration software, schedules, calendars, and project management tools with expertise. Jessica is also a key player in our marketing efforts, overseeing tasks such as creating promotional materials, coordinating events, and engaging with our community to promote our mission and programs.
Additionally, Jessica leads our retreats, bringing her unique blend of creativity and organizational skills to ensure these events are productive and inspiring. Her ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently and effectively allows our team to focus on delivering exceptional programs to our students and community.
Beyond her professional capabilities, Jessica is also known for her creativity, proactive approach, and empathy. Her strong leadership skills, keen attention to detail, and exceptional planning abilities not only contribute to her success but also enhance the overall effectiveness and cohesion of our team.
Jessica’s dedication, experience, and passion for AcroSports make her the perfect fit for this role. We are confident that her leadership as Chief Operating Officer will significantly contribute to our continued success and growth.
