Welcoming Johnny Bradford as AcroSports’ New Chief Programs Officer

Hello AcroCommunity,

It is with great respect and privilege that I share a Leadership announcement on this fine, final Friday of the 2026 Summer Session. Johnny Bradford has stepped into the role of Chief Programs Officer at AcroSports.

Hailing from the windswept, rugged coast of Bangor, Northern Ireland, Johnny is no stranger to hard work. There has never been a task at Acro (and I would imagine nor at his other workplaces as well) too big or too small. Apart from his eclectic handyman, manual labor jobs, Johnny’s professional portfolio is replete with programs work in communities. 

During one of his stints in Scotland, Johnny worked as a Project & Service Manager at Action for Children- a UK-wide children’s org that works to protect and support vulnerable young people. Thankfully Johnny found his way to AcroSports and held the roles of Offsite, Parties, and Camp Manager between 2014-2019. In recognition of his higher level contributions, Johnny stepped into the role of Executive Manager just before the world turned in 2020. In true Johnny Bradford form, however, after a personal, medical setback, Johnny made lemonade out of lemons (as they say), and he took up personal training and coaching CrossFit during the pandemic. He was recruited back to AcroSports in 2024 as Admin & Offsite Manager, and we’re delighted to have him join the Executive Team as CPO to further elevate his unique skills and contributions.

If the ship’s sinking, Johnny is the guy you want on your boat. He’s smart, a lifelong learner, athlete, and family-man, and we’re thankful to have him as an integral part of our Leadership Team and Acro community. Grass does not grow under Johnny’s feet so stay tuned to new program developments this coming year and beyond. We can’t wait!
