What’s the “Best of…” Voting All About?
Each year, parents across the Bay come together to vote for their family favorites in a wide range of categories. From the best museums to martial arts instruction, day camps, dance classes, and much more, this is your chance to highlight what makes our community shine. And the cherry on top? Just by voting, you enter a chance to win four Exploratorium tickets!
How to Participate?
Participating is easy! All the instructions, categories, and regions are outlined on the Bay Area Parent website. Simply visit https://www.bayareaparent.com/san-francisco-and-marin-ballot-2024/#// to get started. Voting is quick, easy, and not only do you get to support your local favorites, but you also become part of a larger community celebration.
How Does It Work?
The voting process is split into two main phases: the nomination phase and final voting.
- Nomination Phase: Running until midnight on Saturday, April 20th, this phase is all about nominating your favorite local businesses and organizations for a spot in the finals. It’s a fantastic opportunity to ensure that the places you love get the recognition they deserve.
- Final Voting: Starting Monday, April 22nd, and continuing through Sunday, May 19th, the top 3-5 businesses (excluding ties) from each category will battle it out for the final vote. This is where things get exciting, as your votes help decide the ultimate “Best of 2024.”
The winners will be announced in the Best of 2024 issue and on the Bay Area Parent website in late July.
