COVID-19 Update – August 2021

Dorrie Huntington, AcroSports Executive Director, provides important updates regarding Covid 19 protocol.

Dear AcroCommunity,

I hope this finds you safe and well.

As we anxiously await for AcroSports to return to your Pre-COVID experience, we will continue to operate in full compliance with the SFDPH and the CDC’s Public Health guidance.   As we continue to navigate this uncertain time, the safety of our staff, students and community has and will continue to be our #1 priority, and we will continue to maintain our high standards of safety and cleanliness.

SF is now following State guidelines about face coverings. As of August 3, 2021, all Bay Area counties require every resident to wear a mask indoors in public settings, regardless of vaccination status. This is to ensure easy verification that all unvaccinated individuals are wearing masks in those places and ask that vaccinated individuals continue to wear masks indoors. It is also an added precautionary measure for all because of the rise in COVID-19 cases and the rapid increase of the highly-transmissible Delta variant. AcroSports has and will continue to require masks while working, visiting or training in our facility.

Vaccination information

We understand that the expectation that all eligible people should be vaccinated has encountered numerous challenges—including concerns about vaccine acceptance, shifting eligibility requirements, the rise of new variants, technical difficulties for vaccine websites, etc.—along the way.

We encourage you to watch Get Vaccinated!  The Time is Now!

This video is Courtesy of SFGovTV and the San Francisco Department of Public Health and artist Chris-Live with a Song & Movement video to alert you and those you hold dear get the vaccine when you are eligible to protect you and your community.
