We’re excited to announce our August AcroStaffers o’ the Month are Theo and Em—two absolute rockstars in the Junior, Youth, and Camp programs!

Spotlight on Theo Pavao: Leadership and Creativity in Action

Theo has really stepped up her game this summer. She has truly been taking initiative and has grown into a leadership role. She has also taken it upon herself to mentor some of our newer staff members, helping them learn the ropes, feel supported, and build their confidence.

At camp, Theo has been exhibiting her creativity with her acts for the camp shows and putting a lot of thought into making them fun and exciting for the kids. She has done a fantastic job checking in, communicating, and making sure things are running smoothly. She’s someone who is always thinking ahead, willing to help, and ready to step up when needed.

Congratulations, Theo! This honor is well deserved!

Spotlight on Em McMullen: San Francisco’s “Junior Whisperer”

Sharing this month’s award is the Junior whisperer, Em. Em has shown time and time again that they are a coach who is prepared, engaging, and remains poised under pressure. They seamlessly fit into AcroSports culture from the very beginning and have been inventive, creative, fun, and supportive for the students.

Whether it’s a group of 16 or 2, they make sure to give each student a wonderful experience. In addition to engaging students, Em graciously and expertly supports new staff members to learn what AcroSports is all about. They don’t hesitate when it comes to helping others and are happy to help the team wherever help is needed.
