Some coaches have a gift for making every student feel like they belong. Coach Ava is one of them, which is why we’re celebrating her as our December AcroStaffer of the Month.

What Makes Coach Ava Special

Ava brings steady warmth to every class she teaches, from our tiniest junior acrobats to adults finding new confidence upside down. She has a competitive gymnastics background, but you’d never know it from the pressure-free environment she creates. She took the technical knowledge and left behind the intensity. What remains is clear instruction, genuine encouragement, and joy in watching students progress.

She’s the kind of coach who meets every student exactly where they are. A nervous first-timer gets the same thoughtful attention as a returning student working on advanced skills. Parents consistently mention her patience. Students talk about how she makes hard things feel doable.

Where You’ll Find Coach Ava

Ava is a key part of our Junior, Youth, and Parties Programs. That means she teaches across age groups and skill levels, which requires real versatility. One hour she’s helping toddlers learn basic tumbling. The next, she’s coaching older youth through complex skills or facilitating a high-energy birthday party.

She also subs regularly across programs, jumping into different class formats without missing a beat. Not every coach can do that well. Ava does it consistently.
